The Brownlow Inn is situated in the village of Brownlow, 5 miles outside Congleton, just off the A534 and A34. It is an attractive country pub and restaurant, with some superb views over the rolling Cheshire countryside, towards Mow Cop, which can be seen from the conservatory and dining room. The Brownlow Inn is particularly popular with walkers and cyclists who take advantage of this beautiful surrounding countryside. It's an ideal place to have a rest for a drink and a meal before moving on!
The building was formerly two cottages which date from approximately the 18th century. Nowadays The Brownlow Inn is a traditional country pub with a great deal of character, with its old wooden beams and reclaimed brick interior. It is spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated, featuring many pictures, prints and artefacts depicting country life.
The pub has gained an excellent reputation for its cuisine and the extensive menu features many International dishes as well as traditional favourites.
The Main bar area is a real feature being constructed of wooden beams and reclaimed brick. There are many cosy dining areas within which to enjoy a relaxing meal with family or friends, there is even an original log fire, a welcome sight on those long winter evenings! There is a large selection of beers, lagers and spirits available along with an impressive range of wines available by the glass or bottle. For real-ale lovers the Brownlow Inn has a permanent selection of 3 traditional beers and one guest.
The Brownlow Inn can cater for any occasion including Weddings, Birthdays, Christenings and Funeral wakes. Up to 45 people can be catered for with buffets available.
