The Durham is another of Congleton's "local" pubs. For this reason there does not seem to have been much money spent on the looks of the pub.
The pub has a pool table and TV's for screening live sports events.
The only cask ale that I saw on offer when I visited was John Smiths Bitter. This was not a clear as others I have seen and was not one of the best I have tasted either.
